۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
