۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire 23 And stop them, for they must be questioned. 24 What aileth you that ye succour not one another? 25 They will submit to questioning then, 26 And some of them shall advance towards others, questioning each other. 27 They say: Lo! ye used to come unto us, imposing, (swearing that ye spoke the truth). 28 The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers, 29 “And we did not have any control over you; but in fact you yourselves were rebellious.” 30 "So now the Word of our Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment). 31 So we led you astray, for we ourselves were erring. 32 So indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment. 33 As such We shall deal with the evildoers. 34 for when it was said to them, 'There is no god but God,' they were ever waxing proud, 35 And they used to say, “Shall we forsake our Gods upon the sayings of a mad poet?” 36 In fact, he had brought them the truth and had acknowledged the Messengers (who were sent before him). 37 Ye shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;- 38 although you shall not be requited for aught but what you were wont to do. 39 Save single-minded slaves of Allah; 40 shall have a known provision -- 41 Fruits of every kind, and they will be honoured 42 (They will live) in the bountiful gardens, 43 They will be seated upon couches set face to face; 44 a cup from a spring being passed round to them, 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 causing no headiness or intoxication. 47 And with them are those of modest gaze, with lovely eyes, 48 As if they were (delicate) eggs closely guarded. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 One of them will say: 'I had a companion 51 Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)? 52 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be requited?" 53 (The man) said: "Will you look down?" 54 Then looketh he and seeth him in the depth of hell. 55 He said: "By Allah! You have nearly ruined me. 56 But for Allah's favour, I should be one of those who have been mustered here. 57 (Another will say:)"Is it true, we are not going to die 58 Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised? 59 This will indeed be great happiness. 60 For such a reward should the workers perform. 61 Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum? 62 We have made this tree a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 It is a tree that grows at the bottom of Hell. 64 Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. 65 And verily they must eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then they will have on top of it a mixture of boiling water. 67 They can only return to hell. 68 They found their fathers in error, 69 and they are running in their footsteps. 70 And truly before them, many of the ancients went astray;- 71 But We sent aforetime, among them, (messengers) to admonish them;- 72 Therefore see what sort of fate befell those who were warned! 73 Except the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah. 74

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
