THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
