Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
