and We saved the Children of Israel from a humiliating punishment 30 from Pharaoh, who ranked high in sin, 31 We knowingly exalted them (i.e., the Children of Israel) above other peoples of the world 32 And We gave them of the communications wherein was clear blessing. 33 Indeed these people say: 34 "There is nothing beyond our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, merely in (idle) sport: 38 We did not create them except with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 The Day of Final Decision is the appointed time for all; 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 Except such as receive Allah's Mercy: for He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 42
