a good many of olden times, 39 and a large group of those of later times. 40 And those on the left – how (wretched) are those on the left! 41 Amidst scorching wind and scalding water. 42 and a shade of thick, pitch-black smoke, 43 Which is neither cool nor is for respect. 44 They had been affluent before, 45 and persisted in the great sin 46 And they used to say, "What! when we die and become dust and bones, shall we then indeed be raised up again?- 47 And also our forefathers? 48 Say: The first and the last, 49 “They will all be gathered together – on the appointed time of the known day.” 50 Then you people who had gone astray and rejected the Truth 51 "You verily will eat of the trees of Zaqqum. 52 "Then will ye fill your insides therewith, 53 and drink on top of that boiling water 54 And will drink as the drinking of thirsty camels. 55 This is their reception on the Day of Justice. 56 We created you.
