The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
