Alshu'araa' 6 of 11
The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
