Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
YaSeen. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 On the Straight Path. 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
