The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages] ranged in serried ranks, 1 And so are strong in repelling (evil), 2 and conveying [to all the world] a reminder: 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
