We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
