The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
