THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
