۞ Say, [God says] "O My servants, who have committed excesses against their own souls, do not despair of God's mercy, for God surely forgives all sins. He is truly the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 53 Turn unto your Lord repentant, and surrender unto Him, before there come unto you the doom, when ye cannot be helped. 54 And follow the best of that which hath been sent down unto you from your Lord there cometh on you torment of a sudden, while ye perceive not. 55 Turn to God in repentance before a soul says, "Woe to me because of my failure to fulfill my duties to God. Woe to me for mocking God's guidance!" 56 "Or (lest) it should say: 'If only Allah had guided me, I should certainly have been among the righteous!'- 57 "Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: 'If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!' 58 Yea! surely there came unto thee My revelations, but thou beliedest them and wast stiff-necked and wast of the infidels. 59 And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allah (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners, etc.) their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant ones? 60 But God shall deliver those that were godfearing in their security; evil shall not visit them, neither shall they sorrow. 61 Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the Wakil (Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian, etc.) over all things. 62 His are the keys of the heavens and the earth and those who disbelieve in the revelations of Allah - those! they are the losers. 63
