Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I swear by all that you can see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
