The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 On a guarded tablet. 22
