The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
