▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

Let not the deniers of the truth be deluded that they will gain any advantage. Surely, they, can never overcome Us! 59 Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly. 60 ۞ If they incline to peace, incline to it also, and put your trust in Allah. Surely, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 61 And if they would deceive thee, then lo! Allah is Sufficient for thee. He it is Who supporteth thee with His help and with the believers, 62 and brought their hearts together. If you had given away all the riches of the earth, you could not have so united them, but Allah has united them. He is Almighty, Wise. 63 O Prophet, sufficient for you is Allah and for whoever follows you of the believers. 64
