Al-Zukhruf 7 of 7
(It will be said to them): “My servants, today you have nothing to fear or regret, 68 even those who believed in Our signs, and had surrendered themselves 69 Enter the Garden, ye and your wives, to be made glad. 70 To them will be passed large platters and cups of gold. There will be all that souls desire and all that eyes delight in. (And it will be said:) 'There you shall live for ever. 71 This is the Paradise which you have received as your inheritance by virtue of what you have done. 72 For you therein is much fruit from which you will eat. 73 But the evil-doers shall abide in the torment of Hell. 74 that is not abated for them and therein they are sore confounded. 75 And We are not unjust to them, but they themselves were unjust. 76 And they will cry: "O thou [angel] who rulest [over hell]! Let thy Sustainer put an end to us!" [whereupon] he will reply: "Verily, you must live on [in this state] 77 Assuredly We brought the truth unto you, but most of you are to the truth averse. 78 Do they assume that they have made their work thorough? So We shall make Our work thorough. 79 Do they fancy that We do not listen to their whispers and their counselling? Why not, We surely do! And Our angels are with them, writing down. 80 Say, "If the All Merciful had a son, I would be the first to worship him." 81 Glorified be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne! Exalted be He from all that they ascribe (to Him). 82 Leave them to their vain discoursing and horse-play till they come to meet their promised day (of reckoning). 83 It is He (Allah) Who is the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) in the heaven and the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) on the earth. And He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower. 84 And hallowed be He unto whom the dominion over the heavens and the earth and all that is between them belongs, and with whom the knowledge of the Last Hour rests, and unto whom you all shall be brought back! 85 And those whom they call upon beside Him own not the power of intercession save those who have borne witness to the truth and who know. 86 And wert thou to ask them who created them, they will surely say: God. Witherward then are they deviating! 87 The Prophet has said, "Lord! Truly they are a people who do not believe." 88 yet pardon them, and say, 'Peace!' Soon they will know. 89
True are the words of God the Almighty.
