And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
