And the disbelievers said, “Do not listen to this Qur’an and engulf it in noise – perhaps you may be victorious this way.” 26 Wherefore We will surely cause those who disbelieve to taste a severe torment, and We will surely requite them the worst of that which they have been working. 27 This is the requital for God's enemies: Hell, where they will have their lasting home, as punishment for denying Our revelations. 28 And the disbelievers said, “Our Lord! Show us both – among jinns and men – who misled us, for us to put them beneath our feet so that they be the lowest of the low.” 29 [But,] behold, as for those who say: "Our Sustainer is God," and then steadfastly pursue the right way - upon them do angels often descend, [saying:] "Fear not and grieve not, but receive the glad tiding of that paradise which has been promised to you! 30 We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish] 31 A provision from the Forgiving, the Merciful. 32
