And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds. 32 and sent them revelations of which some were a clear trial for them. 33 Indeed these people say: 34 there is nothing beyond our first death; we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring us our fathers, if what you say is true' 36 Are they better, or the folk of Tubb'a and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 It was not in play that We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. 38 We did not create them except with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 The Day of Judgement is your promised day of meeting, 40 The day on which a friend shall not avail (his) friend aught, nor shall they be helped, 41 save him upon whom God has mercy; He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 42
