Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And all that ye see not 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
