۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
