And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 And We brought Our signs unto them, yet they were averting themselves therefrom. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them save with truth, and lo! the Hour is surely coming. So forgive, (O Muhammad), with a gracious forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing. 86 AND, INDEED, We have bestowed upon thee seven of the oft repeated [verses,] and [have, thus, laid open before thee] this sublime Qur'an: 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 Like as We sent down on the dividers 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 by your Lord, We shall question them all 92 for what they have done 93 Therefore publicly announce what you are commanded, and turn away from the polytheists. 94 We suffice thee against the mockers, 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say. 97 But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration. 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
