[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] 25 And make my affair easy to me, 26 And loose a knot from my tongue. 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 "And give me a Minister from my family, 29 Aaron my brother 30 Strengthen my back by him, 31 And let him share my task 32 so that we exalt You 33 and remember Thee without cease! 34 Verily Thou! Thou art of us ever a Beholder. 35 God said, "You have been granted your request, Moses." 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 saying: "Put him in the box and cast it into the river. The river will cast him on to the bank, and he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his." I lavished My Love on you, and to be formed in My Sight. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 “And I created you especially for Myself.” 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs, and do not be remiss in remembering Me. 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has waxed insolent; 43 Both of you must speak with him in a gentle manner so that perhaps he may come to himself or have fear (of God)." 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 So go to him and say: 'The two of us have indeed been sent by your Lord. So let the children of Israel come with us, and do not oppress them. We have come to you with a token from your Lord. Peace on him who follows the way of guidance. 47 Lo! it hath been revealed unto us that the doom will be for him who denieth and turneth away. 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle, (therein); verily, in this are proofs and signs for men of understanding. 54
