And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
