SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
