We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
