The Stars (Al-Najm)
62 verses, revealed in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the star when it descends, 1 your companion is not in error nor has he gone astray. 2 Neither does he speak of his own will. 3 This is only revelation communicated, 4 He has been taught by the Extremely Powerful. 5 The Strong; then the Spectacle inclined towards him. 6 And he was on the horizon of the highest heaven. 7 then he drew near, and became close 8 So the distance between the Spectacle and the beloved was only two arms’ length, or even less. (The Heavenly Journey of Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – was with body and soul.) 9 So Allah divinely revealed to His bondman, whatever He divinely revealed. 10 His heart did not falsify what he perceived. 11 Will you then argue with him about what he saw? 12 Indeed, he saw him in another descent 13 Near the Lote-tree beyond which none may pass: 14 Near it is the Garden of Refuge - 15 When that which covers covered the lote-tree; 16 Neither did sight falter nor exceed the bounds. 17 and he certainly saw some of the greatest Signs of His Lord. 18 HAVE YOU, then, ever considered [what you are worshipping in] Al-Lat and Al-Uzza, 19 as well as [in] Manat, the third and last [of this triad]? 20 Do sons belong to you and daughters to God? 21 That indeed is an unfair division -- 22 These are nothing but names which ye have devised,- ye and your fathers,- for which Allah has sent down no authority (whatever). They follow nothing but conjecture and what their own souls desire!- Even though there has already come to them Guidance from their Lord! 23 Or shall man have whatever he fancies? 24 But it is to God that the Hereafter and this world belong. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
