And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
