▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for one who fears to stand before his Lord, are two Gardens. 46 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 47 Having numerous branches. 48 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 49 In the two Gardens flow two springs. 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 In both of them, there will be two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 53 Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 57 (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. 58 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 Which of the laudable attributes of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 61 And beside them are two other gardens, 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 Dark-green. 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 Therein are two gushing fountains of water. 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 Therein will be fruits and dates and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Majestic, Splendid. 78
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
