Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
