The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
