Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 Then verily along with every hardship is ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So, whenever you are free, strive in devotion, 7 and let thy Lord be thy Quest. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
