They will ask you about the mountains. Tell them: "My Lord will uproot them from the base, 105 and leave the earths level and bare, 106 "Nothing crooked or curved wilt thou see in their place." 107 On that Day will they follow the Caller (straight): no crookedness (can they show) him: all sounds shall humble themselves in the Presence of (Allah) Most Gracious: nothing shalt thou hear but the tramp of their feet (as they march). 108 That Day intercession will profit not except him for whom the Compassionate giveth leave, and of whom He approveth the word. 109 He knows what (appears to His creatures as) before or after or behind them: but they shall not compass it with their knowledge. 110 ۞ All faces shall be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting Lord, and he who bears the burden of iniquity will have failed; 111 but whosoever does righteous works, being a believer, shall have no fear of suffering wrong or loss." 112 And thus We have sent it down, an Arabic Recitation, and have propounded variously therein of the threats, that haply they may fear, or that it may generate in them some admonition. 113 Therefore Supreme is Allah, the True King; and do not hasten in the Qur’an (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) until its divine revelation has been completed to you; and pray, “My Lord, bestow me more knowledge.” 114 And We had already taken a promise from Adam before, but he forgot; and We found not in him determination. 115
