Al-Zukhruf 7 of 7
O My bondmen! no fear shall be on you Today, nor shall ye grieve 68 (Being) those who have believed in Our Signs and bowed (their wills to Ours) in Islam. 69 Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happiness. 70 To them will be passed large platters and cups of gold. There will be all that souls desire and all that eyes delight in. (And it will be said:) 'There you shall live for ever. 71 Such is the Paradise that you shall inherit by virtue of your good deeds in the life of the world. 72 Therein for you is fruit in plenty whence to eat. 73 The criminals will live forever in the torment of hell. Their torment will not be relieved and they will despair of escaping. 74 It shall not be abated from off them, and they will be therein despondent. 75 We wronged them not, but they it was who did the wrong. 76 And they cry: O master! Let thy Lord make an end of us. He saith: Lo! here ye must remain. 77 We brought you the truth, but most of you were averse to the truth. 78 Or have they devised a matter! We are devising. 79 Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private conversations? Yes, [We do], and Our messengers are with them recording. 80 Say: 'If the All-merciful has a son, then I am the first to serve him. 81 Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of power, from what they describe. 82 But leave them to indulge in idle talk and play [with words] until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs which they have been promised: 83 It is He Who is Allah in heaven and Allah on earth; and He is full of Wisdom and Knowledge. 84 And Most Auspicious is He, for Whom is the kingship of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; and only with Him is the knowledge of the Last Day; and towards Him you are to return. 85 And those whom they invoke instead of Him have no power of intercession; except those who bear witness to the truth (i.e. believed in the Oneness of Allah, and obeyed His Orders), and they know (the facts about the Oneness of Allah). 86 And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, "Allah." So how are they deluded? 87 The Prophet has said, "Lord! Truly they are a people who do not believe." 88 Then bear with them (O Muhammad) and say: Peace. But they will come to know. 89

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
