Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 And We shall drive the Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) to Hell, in a thirsty state (like a thirsty herd driven down to water), 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 On the Day of Resurrection each one of these will come to Him singly. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
