Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
