And indeed Nooh prayed to Us – so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 We saved him and his people from great distress, 76 and We made his offspring the survivors. 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 "Peace be upon Noah throughout all the worlds!" 79 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80 Surely he was among Our faithful creatures. 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 (Remember when) he came to his Lord with a pure heart; 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 Is it false deities that you want to serve rather than Allah? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 And (his people) came toward him, hastening. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 (And he prayed:) "O Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 Lo! that verily was a clear test. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty victim. 107 and left for him among the later folk 108 'Peace be upon Abraham!' 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good 110 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 111 We gave him the glad news of the birth of Isaac, one of the righteous Prophets. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113
