Surely for the godfearing shall be Gardens of Bliss with their Lord. 34 What, shall We make those who are submissive like the wrongdoers? 35 What aileth you? How ill ye judge! 36 Is there with you a Book wherein ye study: 37 that (in the Hereafter) you shall have all that you choose for yourselves? 38 Or have ye oaths from Us reaching to the Day of Resurrection, that you shall be that which ye judge? 39 Ask them, which of them will stand surety for that! 40 Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful. 41 On the day when the Shin* will be exposed and they will be called to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. (Used as a metaphor) 42 Their eyes shall be downcast and ignominy shall overwhelm them. For when they were safe and sound, they were summoned to prostrate themselves, (and they refused). 43 Hence, leave Me alone with such as give the lie to this tiding. We shall bring them low, step by step, without their perceiving how it has come about: 44 And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong. 45 Or do you ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? 46 Do they possess the knowledge of the unseen which confirms the truthfulness of their belief? 47 Then be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the companion of the fish when he called out while he was distressed. 48 Had not grace from his Lord reached him, he had surely been cast into the wilderness in a plight. 49 But his Lord chose him and placed him among the righteous. 50 And indeed, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes when they hear the message, and they say, "Indeed, he is mad." 51 Whilst it is no more than reminder for the people of the world. 52
