Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And those that strike violently, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
