The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to the stinters who, 1 Who, when they take the measure (of their dues) from men take it fully, 2 but when they give by measurement or weight to others, they give them less. 3 Do they not know that they are bound to be raised from the dead 4 (To be raised) for a Great Day? 5 a Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the Universe? 6 Indeed, the record of the disbelievers is in the lowest place, the Sijjeen. 7 and what shall teach thee what is Sijjin? 8 It is a written book. 9 Woe on that Day to those who belied it, 10 Who deny the Day of Recompense. 11 None belies it except every guilty sinner. 12 When you recite Our verses to him, he says, “Stories of earlier men!” 13 No indeed; but that they were earning has rusted upon their hearts. 14 No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned. 15 Then verily they will be roasted into the Scorch. 16 and who will be told, "This is what you had called a lie". 17 NAY, VERILY - the record of the truly virtuous is [set down] in a mode most lofty! 18 And what could make thee conceive what that mode most lofty will be? 19 It is a comprehensively written Book (of records). 20 witnessed by those brought nigh. 21 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 22 On couches face to face. 23 thou knowest in their faces the radiancy of bliss 24 They will be given pure wine to drink, which is kept preserved, sealed. 25 its seal is musk, for this let the competitors compete; 26 And the admixture of it is a water of Tasnim, 27 a fountain at which the chosen ones shall drink. 28 The sinners had been laughing at the believers. 29 and whenever they pass by them, they wink at one another [derisively]; 30 and when they went back to their families, they went back jesting, 31 And upon seeing the Muslims, they used to say, “Indeed they have gone astray.” 32 But they had not been sent as keepers over them! 33 Wherefore Today, those who believed at the infidels are laughing, 34 On high couches, gazing. 35 Will not the disbelievers then be duly recompensed for their laughing at the believers? 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
