Al-Taareq

The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the sky and the night comer - 1 What could let you know what the nightly comer is! 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 There is no human being but has a protector over him (or her) (i.e. angels incharge of each human being guarding him, writing his good and bad deeds, etc.) 4 Now let man but think from what he is created! 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 God has all power to resurrect him. 8 The Day when secrets will be put on trial, 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 I swear by the raingiving heavens, 11 And the earth which splitteth (with the growth of trees and plants) 12 Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil): 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 And I plot a plot (against them). 16 So leave the unbelievers to themselves; respite them awhile. 17

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
