Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
