The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The Clatterer (the Day of Judgement)! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
