WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 Not one of you there is, but he shall go down to it; that for thy Lord is a thing decreed, determined. 71 Then, We will save those who were cautious of Us, but the harmdoers shall be left there hobbling on their knees. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 And Allah will increase the guidance for those who have received guidance; and good deeds that remain have the best reward before your Lord, and the best outcome. 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he obtained knowledge of the Unseen, or has he taken a covenant with the Most Compassionate Lord? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he will come unto Us, alone (without his wealth and children). 80 And they have taken gods, other than Allah, that they might be a power from them. 81 But they shall reject their worship and turn against them. 82
