The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
