1/2 Hizb 45

۞ "Bring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped- 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 "But stop them, for they must be asked: 24 'Why do you not help one another? 25 Nay, but this day they make full submission. 26 And some of them shall advance towards others, questioning each other. 27 They shall say: Surely you used to come to us from the right side. 28 [To which] the others will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were bereft of all faith! 29 “And we did not have any control over you; but in fact you yourselves were rebellious.” 30 So our Lord's Word is realised against us; we are tasting it. 31 we perverted you, indeed, we were perverts' 32 And verily, on that Day they all will share in their common suffering. 33 Verily, thus shall We deal with all who were lost in sin: 34 When they were told, "There is no deity but God," they turned away with disdain, 35 And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?" 36 In fact he has brought the Truth, and testified for the Noble Messengers! 37 Most surely you will taste the painful punishment. 38 But it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought;- 39 But Allah's chosen servants (shall be spared this woeful end). 40 Those will have a provision determined - 41 and fruits while they are honored. 42 (They will live) in the bountiful gardens, 43 on couches facing each other. 44 A cup will be passed round among them [with a drink] from unsullied springs, 45 White, delicious to those who drink. 46 but not harmful or intoxicating. 47 and with them wide-eyed maidens restraining their glances 48 As if they were eggs, safely hidden. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth] 51 Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe 52 "'When we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments?'" 53 (A voice) said: "Would ye like to look down?" 54 Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell. 55 He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me; 56 But for the Favor of Allah I should have surely been among those who were arraigned (with you in Hell). 57 "Is it (the case) that we shall not die, 58 and that we would not be punished?" 59 Indeed, this is the mighty victory, 60 For the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 It is a tree that grows at the bottom of Hell. 64 and its fruits are like devils' heads. 65 Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then on top of it they will have a brew of boiling water. 67 Then their return will be to the same blazing Hell. 68 Verily, they found their fathers on the wrong path; 69 So they hastily follow their footsteps! 70 And assuredly there went stray before them many of the ancients. 71 although, verily, We had sent warners unto them: 72 Then see the nature of the consequence for those warned, 73 Only Our sincere servants were saved. 74
