THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
